I got the idea for this jewelry box when I found scallop shells in a thrift store. I built the glass box around the shape of the shell and matched glass to complement the shell colors. I attached the shell with wire hinges and made the flat bottom mirrored. It is a standalone piece or can be purchased as a set with the Shell Vanity Tray and the Shell Makeup Brush Holder.
